July 18th, 2026: Jake Stack & Stephanie Catlett Interviews

During the 5:00pm hour we featured Jake Stack. He was born in Cedar Rapids and grew

up here. Even though he lived in the Dallas and the DC areas for awhile, he moved

back to his hometown of Cedar Rapids! When he’s not performing solo he works with

his band, CAT EYES. Jake is a super talented singer/songwriter. He started attending

his dad’s shows at a young age and was encouraged to sing on stage in his Dad’s band

called RELAXED FIT. I opened up the hour having Frank play “Must Keep Working”,

which he recorded with his band at Flat Black Studio in Love Tree, Iowa. Followed by

him playing his guitar and singing “Full Grown Man” and “The Pills Are Working”.

Jake will be performing with his band CAT EYES on Saturday, August 8th from 1-5pm at

St. Jude’s Sweet Corn Festival. For other show dates, follow Jake on Facebook and all

During the 6:00 hour we featured featured STEPHANIE CATLETT from Iowa City. We learned that she didn't start her career until the age of 41 and she's been doing what she loves ever since then... songwriting! We opened the show with Frank playing “With You” followed by another original, featuring JAKE STACK called “Rambler”. The last song we played was “Milkweed”. Stephanie will be performing July 22nd from 6:30- 8 pm at James Allen McPherson Park. November 4th - 7th she will be attending the songwriter’s Festival in Iowa City at the Englert Theatre.
