Featured in the 5:00 hour was DAVE PARIS-Guitarist and owner of WALL of SOUND

PRODUCTIONS in Marion, IA. He is sponsoring the contest with a 6-hour recording and

final mixing session ($390 value), awarded along with the $500 cash prize to the FIRST

place winner! We played a couple of his recorded projects called, “Seeds of Stone” and a

song he wrote for his nephew, “Roman’s Road”.

Joining me and my producer, Frankie B, in the studio for the second half of the hour, was the youngest contestant, 10 year old SCARLETT ABBEN. She sang Adele's song, “Go Easy on Me” and wants your support in the final week of the competition!

Contestants who couldn't make an in-studio performance and were scheduled for a phone interview during the first hour were, JIMMIE LIUZZO and 14 year old MOLLIE COLLINS, second to the youngest contestant. You didn't get a chance to hear them, so be sure to stop out at Buchona’s Bar & Grill, Wednesday 7-9pm for the last weekly elimination.

FIVE of the SEVEN contestants will move forward to the FINALS at the Amana Performing Arts Center on Saturday August 1st 3-5pm. They need your support! As an audience member, you will vote for the top THREE during the SEMI-FINALS that you want to see make it to the FINALE. You will then vote for placement of those THREE remaining contestants! The link for ticket purchase is... corridorblend.com/tickets ($10 only).

Another song that we played during the 5:00 hour was, my song “Ricochet”.

I started the 6:00 hour playing “The Light” by JESSICA MAR, another one of our celebrity judges for the FINALS. She will also be doing a special performance accompanied by her father, JEFF WEIMER on guitar. We also played “What a Wonderful World” by celebrity judge, JIM MCDONOUGH. The other panel judge to mention is JEFF JOHNSON - USA Talent Agency! TONNIE RECTOR, my Wild Card Pick, was invited back in the competition and made her way to the studio all the way from Waterloo! She shared her talent by singing, Love Can Build a Bridge” by The Judds and “Break Down Here” by Julie Roberts.

In the last half of the 5pm hour, we welcomed HANNA AMUN. She sang “Diamonds” by

Rhianna and “Water Under the Bridge” by Adele. If you liked what you heard, come out

this Wednesday and make her one of your top three choices to make the top FIVE. If you

didn't get to hear the live performances on The Corridor Blend segment, check out the podcast and head down to Amana on Saturday to vote for your top THREE choices to make it into the FINALE.

Other contestants during this hour that were interviewed by phone were...CHRISTOPHER ROSS, a Marine Corps Veteran who has hosted and sang karaoke many times, and BENTLEY DAVENPORT, who couldn't make it in due to a family event at a lake house. The other song played during this hour was my rendition of “Crazy” by Patsy Cline. All of these seven remaining contestants deserve to be in the contest and would like your support in getting them to the end of the musical rainbow!
