October 3rd, 2026: Interviews of Tangel Creek & Scott DL
Updated: Oct 7

The first Saturday in October started out a little disappointedly.... However, I digress! Bad luck hit one more time before the Corridor Blend segment began at 5:00 pm.! The computer in the production room went down earlier in the week. Which meant... NO live stream! Thank goodness, I have a genius producer, Frank Balvanz running the show! He was able to record it from the studio and the night made a U-TURN! You'll be able to listen to the incredible music and interview of my two special guests Lori Gravel from the Maquoketa area and Scott Dalziel from Manchester...the fantastic TANGLE CREEK. Their harmonies are tight and their sound is refreshing! The duo have been performing for 3 years now. Lori never thought she'd be a singer when she was growing up! She's been in a couple different bands before ending up with her current music partner. You won't want to miss the podcast of the 5:00 hour.
We opened with a song Scott wrote. It’s about an older Elvis impersonator who dressed up like Elvis to go out in public and you'd see him around town. The song was titled, “I Think I Saw Elvis” followed by their beautiful acoustic rendition of Lady Antebellum’s, “I Need You Now”. They wrapped up the segment with the song “Seven Bridges Road”. You will have a chance to catch a show at the WY Saloon in Wyoming Iowa this Sunday 12:00 to 5:00 pm. and November 25th at Wild Hogs Saloon & Eatery in Walford. Don't miss this incredible Duo! Make sure you listen later today to the podcast on corridorblend.com/podcast, iHeart Radio or Spotify. Follow them on Facebook for all of their future events.
Other artists and songs played during this hour were; LUKE FARLAND - “Here to Stay”,
GINNY LUKE – “Devil at my Heels”, CHAD ELLIOTT – “American Circus”, ANGELA MEYER
– “Work Can Wait”, and DAVE ZOLLO – “Uneasy Street”.

During the 6:00 hour the focus was on Scott’s 15 year long solo career. Since his name is so hard to pronounce, he let me know he goes by SCOTT DL! Originally from Iowa he lived in other states as well as in Britain for a few years before moving back to Manchester, Iowa. He opened up with “April 9 1865” a true story about his great grandfather. Scott comes from a long line of musically inclined relatives! He performed a
song off of his Enlightenment Saloon album (recorded at Brucemore) called, “New Normal”. His shows consist of all originals that he wrote, including his last song, “I think I
saw Elvis”! He had the lovely and talented Lori Gravel, (his partner from TANGLE CREEK)
do the harmony. Scott will be performing at The Cellar in Dyersville on Saturday, 7:00 to
9:00 pm.
Other artists and songs played during this hour were; PENNY PEACH – “Bangz ”,
DUCHARME-JONES – “Take my Love”, THE HITCHHIKERS – “Can’t You See”, ANDY
JUHL "Buffalo Blue Stem", and SARAH DARLING – “Three Little Birds”.
