September 26, 2026: Interviews of PLUM ST JAM & SKARLETT ROXX

During the 5:00pm hour we had the privilege of welcoming PLUM ST JAM to the

KMRY studio. They drove an hour and a half to be with us, unfortunately they could not

play live because of Patsy's injury. I'm really looking forward to them coming back in the

studio again and performing a couple songs live! Dwight and Robin are brothers and

have been playing together in bands for many years, before forming their own. The

three are from Northeastern Iowa and have been playing together for several years.

Before introducing them, I played one of their songs that Patsy wrote called, “Poor Girl

Blues”. The second song is one that was written by Robin called “The Motorcycle

Ride”, followed by another one written by Patsy called “Talkin’ To The River”. Check

them out on Facebook to find out their four remaining shows.

Other artists and songs played during this hour were; WILLIAM ELLIOTT WHITMORE -

“Trouble in Your Heart”, UNBALANCED – “RADIO ACTIVE”, DAMAN DOTSON –

“Atmosphere”, MADDIE POPPE – “One That Got Away”, and ZACHARY FREEDOM – “This

is Love”.

During the 6:00 hour SKARLETT ROXX brought their acoustic guitars and

performed two songs live. Before I introduce them we played one of their cover tunes that they perform called, “Is it my Body” by Alice Cooper. They were a natural in the studio and we all had great time. The band members that made it in were, DEUCE MAC, JACK LUNSDON, GAGE NETOLICKY and STU FRONDALE. Missing was their drummer,

PATRICK GEASLAND! We found out that their drummer plays for Saint Silver too. We

joked that poor Patrick never gets to come in for an interview! I was relieved that Deuce

didn't bring his snake in for the interview! They sang and played one of their new songs

called “Mariah”, followed by, “Call Me Crazy”. Their last performance of the season will

be October 2nd at Alley Cat in Iowa City. Doors open at 7pm, performance at 8pm. You

can follow them on Facebook or visit their website at skarlettroxx.com.

Other artists and songs played during this hour were; SAVANNAH JANE – “Tennessee

Whiskey ”, ALYX RUSH – “Right on Time”, KC BRUNER – “Turn on the Radio” and JOSHUA

SINCLAIR – “Brother”.
