April 18th, 2026: Brian Herrin & Colin Moore of the MegaDestroyers!

The April 18th - 5:00 p.m. segment featured BRIAN HERRIN. Originally from Illinois, Brian is a super talented singer/songwriter and musician from Alden, Iowa. You may not be aware that Brian started out singing opera and joined the Des Moines Metro Opera. After 5 years, of performing opera, he joined a rock band! His love, style and taste in music, reflect a lot of genres. We played one of his original songs called, “It Goes Like This”.
After living in a few other states, Brian moved to Iowa and was a co-founder of the Des Moines based band DECOY, they recorded in Nashville, traveled nationally, even opening for big names in the music industry until 2015. He met his wife in Alden and settled there to raise a family. Currently he offers solo shows or his four piece band known as the BRIAN HERRIN BAND for larger events. Brian played and sang one of his songs he released called, “Coming Home” and wrapped up the interview with “Wait”. In the 6:00 hour Corridor blend featured COLIN MOORE, originally from Central City Iowa. Colin is a super talented singer/songwriter and musician now residing in Omaha, Nebraska. After High School Colin served in the military, he struggled with depression and substance abuse after leaving the military and Colin fell on hard times. However, music was his therapy and light. Since then, he found love, has re-enlisted with the Des Moines Iowa National Guard and continues to share his musical talent in the songs he writes and the shows he performs. His love as a musician started in high school and was later realized as a young adult.
Colin’s current band, formed in 2025 called MEGADESTROYER. The three are based in Omaha and will begin touring in May. He shared his single, “Steam” which is currently released on streaming platforms, such as YouTube and Spotify. The band is set to release their next single in May! Follow Colin and his band on Facebook and Instagram. On July 10th, Iowa fans can catch a MEGADESTROYER performance at The Loft in Waterloo, Iowa. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
