April 25th, 2026: Jim McDonough & Todd Bransky of Iowa Brass!

In the 6:00 hour Corridor blend featured JIM MCDONOUGH. He grew up in Monticello,

and now resides just outside Cedar Rapids. As a middle school student, Jim obtained a

loan from the local bank and bought his first Steinway! After a couple other career

choices, Jim landed a cruise ship job on the Royal Caribbean. Leaving that after almost

3 years, he moved back home!

In 2002 Jim started performing his popular "Christmas with Jim McDonough" concert, in 2011 he added his spring tour. Wanting to bring his performance to a more intimate setting, in 2018 Jim began his Home Concert Series. When performing his iconic concerts he works with his 16-piece orchestra.

In the 6:00 hour Corridor blend featured TODD BRANSKY! He is one of the 35 band

members of IOWA BRASS, Todd is from Solon, Iowa. In 2020 the name of the group

rebranded from EASTERN IOWA BRASS BAND. Todd plays the Euphonium among

other brass instruments! This year they are celebrating 40 years and are in the early

stages of planning a special milestone celebration. Todd shared his career path and

passion for music. Don't miss their Wurst Brass Festival beginning Friday June 19th at

6pm in Amana. The first day will be the high energy, fast paced Wurst Friday March

Contest with 11 brass bands competing. Saturday June 20th starting at 10am is the all

day Festhalle Barn performances - World Class brass bands performing non-stop
