March 28, 2026: Denny & Bernie Duo and Timm Palmersheim Interviews

As March is coming to a close, my producer and I welcomed Denny Weidemann and Bernie Even of the DENNY & BERNIE DUO, (also known as 319 GUITAR GUYS), back to the

KMRY Studio on March 28th. They are fresh out of winter hibernation and booking

shows again!

With a few bookings under their belt in March, they are beginning to schedule events from now through Fall. This time around, we played their recorded version of

“Sounds of Silence”, a Simon and Garfunkel classic. They are definitely seasoned

musician/vocalists with harmonies that blend perfectly. We got to hear their version of

“Peaceful Easy Feeling” by the Eagles and “These Days” by Jackson Browne live in the

studio.

You can catch their blended harmonies on May 8th at BOBBERS GRILL in North

album was her favorite, it’s called “Ricochet”!

In the 6:00 hour Corridor blend showcased TIMM PALMERSHEIM! He brought his guitar and talent to the KMRY studio. It was a great interview! Not only did he sound great singing and playing "Seven & Seven, a cover by Turnpike Troubadours. His original song "Just Us ", was beautifully written and executed! I hope to have him back to share more songs and stories with us!

He shared with us that after experiencing a heart attack, nearly 2 years ago and undergoing a triple bypass, that playing and singing music is extremely therapeutic and healing. Tim has several years of experience under his belt playing with bands such as, JOHNNY SMOKE, SAINT SILVER, RUNNING IN PLACE and SIXTEEN PENNY.

Follow Tim on Facebook for events he’s got coming up. He'll be at the First Avenue Club in Iowa City on April 10th with the ever popular band SAINT SILVER!

Other artist and songs played during this hour were, RUTHLESS COUNTY – “Son of a

Sinner” (from their live interview in November, 2025 on Corridor Blend). Tonight, they

celebrated a couple birthdays and showed massive appreciation for their audience,

wrapping up their final performance as RUTHLESS COUNTY at North Point in Cedar

Rapids. ELIZABETH MOEN - “Songbird”, KRIS KARR – “Gentle on my Mind”, LILY DE

TAEYE – “Westbound”, and MATT WOODS – “Early in the Morning”.
