May 2nd, 2026: Patricia Holly & Ian Landuyt Interviews

In the 5:00 hour Corridor blend featured the lovely and talented PATRICIA HOLLY from Des Moines. Once you hear her, I think you'll agree...her voice is like like liquid gold! We opened up with " Little Birdie", a song she wrote in 2019. Growing up, her sister was her biggest influence. Patricia's love for the 40s style of music began at a young age while listening to crooners with her father, such as Frank Sinatra.

Being a busy mom doesn't stop her from performing. However, expecting her second child, due in August, has slowed her down a little! With hundreds of songs written and only 10 released so far, Patricia's goal is to record two more and release them this year! We look forward to having her back at Classic KMRY to debut them on Corridor Blend. I love her pure angelic voice!

In the 6:00 hour Corridor blend featured, IAN LANDUYT, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist from Ely, Iowa. He was joined by fellow musician and best friend, PATRICK SEATON, who brought along his acoustic bass guitar. Ian's passion for music reflects in many different genres, such as folk, alternative, rock, soul and jazz! He records his own music, playing all the instruments and singing the harmony parts at home! There's so much you can do to record your music with today's technology!

We opened the show with his recording of "Oblivion" before learning about his career path thus far. The two performed Ian's originals, "Washed Up" and "Space". Two great songs out of many that he's released.

Although Ian performs solo at some events, him and Patrick are in the band SPIRIT AWAKE. They will be performing at the Marion Arts Festival May 16th and for Hobie Days later that day. May 23rd the band will be performing at The Loft in Waterloo. Be sure to follow them on facebook, Instagram.
